Mathiesen: Sponsor Gold en 19° Conferencia Internacional de Minería
At Mathiesen, we are proud to share our recent experience as a Gold Sponsor at the 19th International Conference on Mineral Processing and Geometallurgy. This world-renowned conference took place from October 4th to 6th and was a great opportunity to showcase our innovative solutions in the field of flotation and collaborate with industry experts globally.
Highlighting Our Flotation Expertise
As a Gold Sponsor at this conference, we had the privilege of sharing our extensive experience in the flotation process, a crucial aspect in the recovery and separation of minerals in the mining industry. In collaboration with the Federico Santa María Technical University and the National Copper Corporation CODELCO, we presented a study titled “Enhancement in Fines Recovery in CODELCO’s Rougher Circuit through Hydrophobized Microsphere Carriers.” This groundbreaking study highlights our contributions to sustainable management and improvement in the recovery of copper and silver fines in the CODELCO circuit.
Joining Forces in Water Treatment
In addition to our outstanding participation in flotation, Mathiesen also joined the conversation on water treatment in the mining industry through our experts in the field, who were present to share and explain the solutions we have for desalination and water reuse processes.
Abstract of Joint Study
“Enhancement in Fines Recovery in CODELCO’s Rougher Circuit through Hydrophobized Microsphere Carriers”.
In this study, we explored how the use of hydrophobized microspheres can significantly improve fines recovery in CODELCO’s Rougher circuit. Our research demonstrated that this innovative technology increases efficiency in the recovery of valuable minerals, resulting in significant economic benefits and reduced environmental impact.
At Mathiesen, we are committed to excellence and innovation in the mining industry. This conference provided us with the opportunity to share our ideas and knowledge with other industry leaders and further strengthen our collaborations in the pursuit of advanced solutions. If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact one of our experts.
We thank all the participants, collaborators, and conference attendees for making this event a success. We are confident in continuing to drive progress in mineral processing and geometallurgy in the future.
